A fun, laid-back FY Camp wedding with rodeo bull & line dancing | A chilled out wedding in Norfolk

If you’re planning a wedding that feels more like your favourite weekend festival than a formal sit-down affair... then a FY Camp wedding might just be your dream setting.
Tucked away in the Norfolk countryside, FY Camp is one of those venues that gives you total freedom to do things your way. No stiff timelines, no awkward traditions you don’t care about, just space to celebrate, properly.
And honestly? It’s the kind of place where the magic just happens.

A wedding that had it all (...including a rodeo bull!)
This particular summer wedding at FY Camp had everything I love about this venue rolled into one day.
An emotional groom (we love to see it, more of that, please), a sun-soaked drinks reception, and yes… an actual rodeo bull casually stealing the show.
It was one of those weddings where no one was standing around checking their watches. People were laughing, hugging, jumping on the bull (with varying levels of success), and just fully in it. Exactly how it should be.

Why FY Camp weddings are so bloody good!
There’s something about FY Camp that brings out the best in people. Maybe it’s the open space, maybe it’s the relaxed vibe… or maybe it’s just the fact you can truly make it your own.
Here’s why couples love it:
Total flexibility – build your day exactly how you want it
Festival-style setup – think tipis, food trucks, outdoor ceremonies
Room to breathe – no cramming your day into tight schedules
Perfect for personality – whether that’s lawn games, live music or (obviously) rodeo bulls
It’s not about following a template. It’s about creating a day that actually feels like you.
From emotional moments to absolute chaos (...the good kind!)
One of my favourite things about this wedding was the balance.
You had those quiet, emotional moments, the kind that hit you right in the chest, and then, not long after, absolute chaos on the rodeo bull and a full-on country line dancing situation kicking off in the evening. No awkward transitions. No forced structure. Just a day that flowed naturally from one moment to the next.
Country line dancing, questionable coordination & the best dance floor energy
When I say the dance floor delivered… I mean it delivered.
As the sun dropped, the boots came out and the line dancing began. Some people absolutely nailed it. Others… gave it a good go.
But that’s the point.
It wasn’t about getting it right, it was about being in the moment, laughing at each other, and just going for it. And from a photography point of view? Unreal.
A little glimpse into their epic day...
